Japan cerebrate the "coming of age ceremony "(成人の日)on January 10th.this year...
This year my eldest son cerebrate his coming of age(成人の日) on this day.

It start from morning..all the young gentlemen and ladies who have cerebrated their 20th birthday recently but have not yet reach 22 years old will ceremony this day in Japan.
Invitation card will be sent from the city council to them to attend the "coming of age"ceremony in the city hall on that day(January10th.)

They will be able to meet all their old classmates..as most of them are all working elsewhere or some even married.
After the ceremony, they will take photos of each others and also a photo will be taken in the city hall as to keep in remembrance ,"coming of age"youth of 2010.

Then after the ceremony, they will go drinking as in Japan, they are considered as adults after this day.So most of the youngsters will spray each other with beer after the photos taking,as to celebrate that they are now adults..

In the evening,a get together reunion dinner will be held in a restaurant. They will all attend it and chat about old times and also to gossip about who and who..hahahaa..

They will chat and drink until the early hours..and my son came back around 2a.m ..Well his father didn't scold him as we understand ,this is his special day.

Time sure pass very fast,as it seems like just yesterday..my son is still at home and still schooling..but from today onwards..he will be an adult and make his own decision.

Well ,dear son,do be a good adult and do take care of yourself from now on,I will always be here whenever you need me...

Surely your son had some wonderful time in the celebration there!

No matter how old he is going to be, he will always be a baby in parents' heart, right? :)
