Today, being a public holiday in Japan..I do not have to work...so I did my favourite Indian crusine for breakfast and hopefully for lunch too..
Talking about Indian Crusine,I meant by saying Indian Curries..I just love to cook them, may it be chicken, fish ,dhall or vegetables curries.
So today I will cook my dhall curry with my Thosai mix..
I soaked my dhall overnite as to soften them, and boiled them until they are soft early in the morning, then later I add in potatoes, onions, tomatoes and my favourite ladies fingers.I use the fish curry mix,as I could not find the vegetable curry mix.
For Indian curries, the hidden secret is the special spice called" haraba campur" like seen on the photo on the right in the small plate, greyish in colour. They are a mixture of spice with anise, jinta manis,ect..ect..
If indian curry is just cook with the curry powder, the tatse will still not be the same if without this "haraba campur"mix.I learnt this from my indian friends..hehe..
Next,I would like to show you my favourite,Thosai mix,Nan mix and my Champati mix..They are easy to cook, just follow the instruction on the packet..
Just add water and do what the instruction tells us,and cook them, like we cook our pancakes..
Last is my dhall curry with my thosai..yummy,they taste just wonderful..I ate them for my breakfast and keep two pieces of my thosai to eat for lunch later...
I would like to thank a dear friend of mine who sent me the thosai mix as I could not find it myself..hehe..
So my dear friend, thanks a million for sending me the thosai mix..I love it very much..it is the same thosai taste as I always eat in penang..
