This japanese clogs is Lacquer painted and embed with "mother-of-pearl",also known as "Nacre".
I love this Lacquer clogs as the lacquer is durable,and I like the glossy finish.This is the first time,I see "mother-of-pearl"being embed in clogs .
If you notice the surrounding on the top is decorated with mini flowers(mother-of-pearl).
The two bands of the clogs are also decorated with sequins and beads.
When I saw this japanese lacquer clogs,I just fall in love with it,never even bother to check the price.I just chose my size and bring it to the counter to pay and home I go...smiling from EAST to WEST....hahahha...

wah they are really beautiful wor. i also love mother of pearl.. olden furniture have these and they are expensive. i bought a pair of cufflinks for ah boy for his birthday with mother of pearl one.. very nice and unique
