I would like to inform all my dear friends who visit my blog here ,that I will be missing in action for a while.
The reason is my mum is critically ill and Kacang and me ,have to make an emergency balik kampong on Tueday 28.
I will be away for a while..please..let pray for my mum...Sorry,I can't write much now, heart is too pain...
In my previous post about Tea Time with my kids at home when they have school holidays...I was the perfect home mother every kids would love to have...hehe..

Meaning is ,I am so homely and help them with their snack making and I too would cook nyonya kueh to eat with them for tea time.

But once school days start..the homely mother turns into the devil when no one is watching...haaha..THAT'S ME...

That is when I comes back from work and is all alone in the house..This is what I usually do...
So here is an example of some of the things I do in the afternoon tea time of the devil(me)...

A plate of freshly cook chicken wings with teriyaki sauce...hmmm..yummy...

A bottle of chille wine..hehe..cheap wine la....to enjoy myself..keke..

See..my favourites DVD..my passions...

I will enjoy my peaceful afternoon tea time...enjoy my snacks ,drink my wine and enjoy watching my DVD or watch online dramas.

But when the clock clicks 5.30 pm,I will quickly clean up all my things ,wear my apron and tranforms into the homely mother again...kekekkee..

Reason is that my kids will be back any moment..and I will be standing in the kitchen cooking dinner or in the garden to greet them back...hahah...
See la...how fast the devil change her image...hehehe...

My daughter,Saki loves to make snacks for tea time when she had school holidays.

This photo is Saki making "tako yaki"(octopus balls),a favourite snack in japan..

See,she is so busy making her "tako yaki"...I think she really takes after me as she loves to cook..haha...

This how the "tako yaki " looks like when they are cooked...serve with benito flakes and japanese sauce...

As for me,while she is busy cooking her "tako yaki"...I was busy cooking mine ,nyonya kueh...I dun't know what is that actual name..so I will call them.."Ubi rumpah udang"..hahaha..as the dough is made of sweet potatoes and the filling is "sambal heirbi"..
So..let's Tea Time...lai... lai... lai..
As I have stayed in Japan so long, the urge to eat our malaysian hawkers food is always on my mind...

So I try to make it a point to have at least once a week...trying to cook them myself..

Till today,I managed to make "chee cheong fun",curry mee", "hokkien mee", "nasi lemak","lor mai kai" and several other dishes..keke...

So this morning,I try to cook "Char hor fun" for my breakfast..and it turned out wonderfully..yummy..

I would like to share this simple receipe with you all ,just in case anyone of you might want to try and cook your homemade "char hor fun"..

Today I will show you some chopsticks cases from Japan. We used to put our personal chopsticks in these chopsticks case when we bring our lunch to work or for our kids when they bring their lunch boxes to school.

I feel they are very hygienic as they protect our chopsticks from dirt or dust. Here are some photos of these cute chopsticks cases...

The ladies types are abit shorter then the man's types, but offcourse they can also use the long types..hehe..
They also have the children's type..and here are some photos to show them...

The children's type also comes in set types..so it is easy to carry them around..
When I was looking around for these chopsticks cases..I found some cute toothpicks holders...
Really can't resist them,as at last I bought the little piggy toothpicks holder...hahaha..
Today, being Friday,is my leisure shopping day..
So I started straight off after work...get into my car and whoppy...shopping I goes...hahaahaa..

The shops now are doing the winter sales as it will get cold very soon.So you can find the latest fashion or gadgets of this winter in these shops...

I found something amusing this time...
Hot water warmer in animal forms..Here I will show the some photos....

These hot water warmer are so cute that I can't resist to buy them. They got so many varieties such as cow, puppies, sheep ,teddy bear and kitten.

I chosed a cute brown puppy for my daughter and a teddy bear for my second son . I myself is ,I chose a black puppy..hehe..even name it "Keh leng na"....

See the photo, from left is the teddy bear, center is "Keh leng na" and on the right is my daughter's brown puppy...

This is how you put hot water into its body, then just close the cap and insert the head of the hot water warmer again into the animal's head.

You can hug it and it will retain heat for about 6 hours.Just like hugging a live puppy...hahah..So this winter I am going to hug my black puppy"Keh leng na"...and feels warm...

So how do you think, are they cute???Heehhehehe...

I wondered how many of you still remembered how you used your first time salary...
Well ,let's go down to memory lane to dig out our wonderful memories...
I remembered that when I received my first salary..which was RM480(considered high at that time),I bought myself a "kah lian"(rm180).As I have stated before in my Anklet topic..I so wanted a gold anklet since I was a child..

Then I was also cheated by a relative of mine who says she could get me a new model of cassette player at a special price.I truely believed her as she says her cousin is working in that company and he could get it for her.
Later I was so dumbfolded when I saw that model selling in the shop at Penang Road.I was so shock that my relative charged me double price for what I believed is a special cheap price.
No wonder ,my cousin(relative's dotter) could get a model same as mine..it must be me paying for hers...hahaha..

The next thing I bought was a colour television with remote control. That was the lastest model with remote control.
Do you all know that when colour television with remote control was out the first time,it is attached with a wire.

Nowadays remote controls are wireless which is so comfortable. Those days,we cannot sit so far away from the television as the wire connected to the remote control and television is not so long..
I remembered that I pay by hire purchase...which was the "in thing" of that era..
That man(shop owner) is an old friend of my family and he does not charge any deposits..and I can just pay him RM30 per month for 3 years..

The next thing I bought via hire purchase was a gas kitchen stove with built in oven. That too was RM30 per month...hahaha...

In the end,I was left with not much money back..but it was a wonderful feeling. This memories lasted to this day as I was so happy to buy the things which I wanted so much ...

Even though I was almost broke by the end of the month after spend so much at the beginning of the month...the faces of my family being so happy with all these new things in our house is worth the price..haha..

I wonder how many of you still remember what you did with your first salary? Mind sharing it out with me????
I love do my leisure shopping on friday,as I don't have to work on saturday and sunday.Usually friday 's shopping ,helps me to relax and also get me into a happy mood...kekeke..

So today being friday..I went to shop at several places...
The first thing I bought , a pair of "version up" sandals...
Why did I say "version up"..??? The reason is that ,they are covered with a layer of carpet of "furs"..(imitations)hehe...
as it is now autumn and soon winter will come..so we cannot wear those summer sandals anymore..

Below are 2 photos of my newly bought sandals..

After buying my sandals,I went to another shop that sells various type of containers. They have so much designs ..I was so confused...as I can't decided which types of containers to buy..

They have plastic types, glass types and even stainless steel types..
At last I chose several glass bottle types...

I still can't make up my mind ,what I want to put into these bottles containers yet..maybe I will put my homemade "kaya" into one of them.
As you can see the white cap, bigger bottle,is filled with fish graunules(hondashii".)
I think ,I am going use one of these bottles to keep my pickles green chillies...

I even bought a big giant spoon with a spoon holder.
My eyes suddenly caught that big giant spoon with the spoon holder...reason...I use to see those hongkongese in the dramas using those big giant spoon to scoop up their soup into smaller bowls.

Tonight,I am going to try out this giant big spoon...as I have a pot of porkribs with white radish soup..
Well, who knows..maybe I will also talk to myself in cantonese..and maybe I will also get to day dream myself in a drama of my own world...hahahahha...
See la..watch too much drama..can also become gila like me lioa....hahahaha...
