I can really says that I am a 100% drama maniac...I really can't imagine a day without watching dramas..expecially those hong kong drama series.
As in Japan ,we have only one satellite channel which show cantonese dramas, and that too is very limited.

I was very happy when my dear friend Amy Cheah, introduce to Tudou.com,to watch dramas online.Later I accidentally found one more drama website by the name of youku.com.I was able to watch all those cantonese dramas in those two websites.

I guess I am in this dramas obession now..hahaha..Recently I am watching a very nice drama which Amy Cheah recommended. The title is 舞动全城 (dance the whole city).I am so hooked on this drama as I love to see latin dances. In the drama, there are several scenes where many middle age ladies(lauees) join the dance class.Later I saw them dance so elegantly..makes me so envy them.
When I watched them praticing the "cha cha" steps in the drama,I can't control myself and I also try to follow their steps and pose. That is when my kids saw me...my son says"okasan(mummy)..why you dance like an elephant?..and my daughter says of my chacha pose when I raised my hands.."okasan(mummy)..are you trying to hit houseflies with your hand???" I know they are teasing me..but never mind..I might be an elephant hitting houseflies now,but when I retired and free,I will sure enroll in that latin dance class..hehehe..
Who knows?? I might even post my video of my dances for you all to see here in my blog...hahahahahhaa...
On July 26th, I went to visit Kacang in toyota city where she stays.
It was also the day when the whole city turn into a canival atmostphere..the citizens will dance to compete with each other groups.

The canival started at 6pm..where the first batch was the kids groups from various kindergarden...
After that, the adult groups started with the hot dances..
The temperature was very hot that day ..about 36degrees..but later in the evening ,it went down to about 25degrees.

On the way back,we stop over for Indian crusine...makan "nan and curry "by the roadside..hahaha..

Those Indian nationals show know how to make business..taking advantage of the canival..(doing business on the roadside)

Then later ,we accidentally spotted a Nepal shop, selling various curry powder and DVD...Know what??? We saw " Dettol soap" and also "Dettol antiseptic liquid" in bottles. We were so surprise to find this product in Japan..and we both bought a detto soap and a bottle of detto antiseptic each...hahaha..

Well,I stayed overnight at kacang house and we both chat until the early morning...

I did enjoyed myself very much in her house and would like to thank her for the warm hospitality and kindness..

Kacang... kam sia..kam sia...thanks a million....hehe...

As I have said in my last post about the wimax speed which I manage to get on my laptop ..now I have something to announce...
Tang..tang,,tang.....Let me introduce you all to my lastest baby....my new pink laptop.

After testing the wimax speed in my old laptop,I was also having the feeling that ,it could also be my laptop ram(memory) which is only 256.I went over to the computer shop to enquire about, how to upgarde my ram,but the man says that it is the old model of XP,and the highest they can go is only about 315,which means not so much difference.

So I thought about gettting myself a present and after searching around ,my eye caught this beauty..A Windows Vista from NEC...

The saleman says this model(NEC) is not bad..having a ram of 2GB and able to upgrade to 4 GB. It is also a Core 2 Duo,which mean it has 2 CPU inside..which make the computer run fast and smooth. This model also comes in other colours..pink,red,blue,black,white and silver.
It also has built in wifi..so I could do internet at Macdonald or Starbucks..haha..

Most of all,is that I fall in love with the pink colour..maybe I am always still young girl in my heart...hehehe...

After I install wimax into this pink laptop,I found out that there was a big difference in my speed and also various tasks...

I was so shock with its speed..as even my desktop which have only 1 CPU with ram 1GB..which I thought was fast. But with this 2 CPU,core2 duo..the speed was unbelieveable...hahaha...
Anyway...I would like to let you all have a look at my pink beauty...

Don't you think she is a beauty??? Hahahahah...

Today, after work,I went to the cell phone shop to enquire about their latest data card service which was on promotion.
Well, they agree to let me try it on my laptop for one week free of charge...haha..
When I reach home,I quickly on my lap top to test it..but do you know ..instead of checking and testing all the websites first,
I chat with my dear friend Lor mee who happen to be online at that moment...hahaha..
Then after that I try to test the speed as it says it could go from 3.1Mbs~1.8Mbs~
But shit ,due to my area is near the countryside,I found that it can only goes to 115.7 kbps..
I was so disapointed..but since I couldn't get broadband or adsl in my area..I thought it is better than my original line which is only 64 kbps.
I try watching youtube..blogs..podcast..they are okay compare to my old houseline speed.
But when I try to watch Tudou.com...shit my laptop hang..I can't figure the reason..could it be this card can't read big files like tudou's?
Why I feel like this ,reason: I try to watch tudou again with this same lap top but I connect it with my house line internet..no probelm occur..funny right?
I am now confuse as wheather I would like to subcribe to this wimax service or not...or could it be my laptop fault(ram is only 256)
Anyway..I still have until next Tuesday to make up my mind...
Now is mid summer in Japan..and today I would like to show some flowers which are rare to some of us..

This is called the "prawn flowers" in japanese..hehe..I don't know the english name for it...Reasons for having this name is because the flowers looks like prawns..That what the sales lady says to me when I bought this plant at the nursery...hahah..Do you think it looks like a prawn???

These red flower plants is the fortune telling plants...That is also what the sales lady told me..hahaha..

She says that if your luck is good it will turn more red..and if your luck is not so good ,it will turn light red ,then later it will turn yellowish...than..to heaven it goes...hahaha..I really can't stop laughing when the sales lady told me that..plants also can go to heaven...hahaha..

Then on my way back home,I noticed a particular type of grass growing in my friend's neighborhood..

So as usual ..I did the next best thing when I saw the house owner pruning her garden.I went over to chat with her..and I ask her what is the name of that particualr grass which is of two tones colour(yellow and green)..and to my surprise...you know what she told me???

She say it is called the "leopard grass" as the spots resemble the leopard's skin..and I politely thank her for kindness...then went back to my car ..

On the way home,I just can't stop laughing with "Today specials"..."red fortune telling flowers".."leopard grass" and in my garden "prawn flowers"..hahahaha...wonder next, what the japanese will name their plants and flowers...Hahahahaha...

Three women: one engaged, one married and one a mistress, are chatting
over lunch and conversation turns to their relationships. They decided
that night to surprise their men.
All three would wear a black leather
bra and thong, stiletto heels and a mask over their eyes.

A few days later they meet up for lunch.

The engaged woman:
The other night when my boyfriend came over he found
me with a black leather bodice, tall stilettos and a mask. He saw me and
said, 'You are the woman of my dreams. I love you.' Then we made love
all night long.

The mistress: Me too! The other night I met my lover at his office and I
was wearing the leather outfit, heels, mask over my eyes and a raincoat.
When I opened the raincoat he didn't say a word, but we had wild sex for
hours.

The married woman:
I sent the kids to stay at my mother's house for the
night. When my husband came home I was wearing the leather bra, black
stockings, stilettos and a mask over my eyes. He walked in the door,
looked at me and said, 'What's for dinner,
Batman? '
I know when we talk about chicken and chicks..we will says "Ya...I see chicks and chicken before"....but I wonder have you all see these chicks before???
They are so cute..I just can't help but admire them....
How about you?????

I wonder how many people knows how kiwi plants looks like...
and if you do not know, well ,let me take the opportunity to show you all...hehehe..
Below are the kiwi plants,I manage to snap this morning with the permission of the kiwi orchard owner who is also my neighbour...hahaha...
I love to eat cherries, and there are two varieties..the dark red ones which are from California, and the pinkish red ones who are from Japan.
I found that the dark red ones are a bit sour and the flesh is also a bit hard..but the pinkish red ones are sweet and soft.

I found that those california's dark red cherries are much cheaper than the japanese pinkish red cheeries.
Really wonder why ,the imported cherries are more cheap than the local cheeries...hehehehe..
Anyway, here is a photo of the pinkish red cherries from japan..

Talking about fruits again,I would like to let you all see the golden kiwis from New Zealand...I love to eat this golden kiwi as they are called that in Japan, coz they are so sweet compared to the green kiwi.I can also assure you ,their price is also a bit different..kekeke..These golden kiwis are abit expensive than the ordinary green kiwis..

Next,I would like to show you all how does the baby persimmons looks like.I am sure that we all know that persimmons are dark orange, right???

Do you know that when they are still young ,they are green in colour, looks like small green apples, and later ,they will turn into yellow and then to dark orange in autumn..Here is a photo of the baby persimmons taken from my family's orchard..

Since I was in my family's orchard taking those persimmons photo,I thought I might as well take a photo of the chestnut tree,as they are also in my family's orchard. They already bear chessnuts(lak chee)..and do you know that they looks exactly the same as our rambutans when they are still not ripe.

Even the leaves and tree looks exactly like our rambutan trees. When I just arrive in Japan,I mistaken them for rambutans,as when I touch the"fur" of that young chessnut,it is also the same as our rambutan skin..hahaha...

Well ,the persimmons and chestnuts will be ripe in autumn...then I will be able to cook chestnut rice and post them for you all to see..hahaha..

Nowadays, there are so many gadgets that we can do with our photos.
I would really want to try one in which my photo could be turned into a jigsaw puzzle.

Today, when I enter the photo shop, something caught me eyes..
I noticed that several handphone strips are with photos..
then I ask the man how long it would take to have mine made into those handphone strips?

I was really surprised when he told me to come back in an hour..
So I did my shopping and returned within an hour...and My.. oh.. My...
My original handphone strip was ready to be collect...

See..my original hand phone strips..cute ????? Hahahhahaa...

Yesterday while passing through the nursery,I found some nice plants which I would like to show you all...

First is the grape plant..and bearing grapes already!!!
I just can't resist it so I took its photo!!!

Next are the photos of the miniture chillies and ferns..
The miniture chilles are only for decoration and cannot be eaten...I like their colours,as they are very colourful.

Take a look at all the baby ferns in the next photo..they are so cute..but I can't buy anymore of them, coz my house is now fully booked with ferns...hahahaha...

Before I end this post,I would also like to show you my handmade "car handphone holder".

I was shopping for some materials at Daizo shop, and I deceided to make myself a summer image "car handphone holder"..

This is how it look after I am done and installed it into my car....colourful ,right ??? Notice the three birdies flying at the top...hahaha....

In Japan, now is the beginning of summer...the weather is very warm now, about 31 degrees in the day time in my area..
When we talk about summer,automatically..my mind shoot to the mosquitoes..hahaha..

In Japan we have cute designs to put the mosquito coil...
Here is a photo of them, but of course there sevearal other designs too..
But in my house I have only these designs..
Next is the liquid type of mosquitoes repellents...They have alot of designs, but my choice is still the piggy as they are very cute.

When we talk about summer in Japan..we always have the windchimes..on sale..

They have so many varieties, and we are spoiled for choice, once in the shop that sells windchimes..

They also have windchimes which are covered with greenery such as moss too. This is a photo of the windchimes with moss...so you need to water the moss every morning to keep it alive and moist...

The photo above are the minitures windchimes of my daughter's.She like to hang her windchimes on her room's door..they are cute, right???

To keep you all updated on my vegetables...
My edamame beans photo...just freshly harvested...

I just pluck the edamame beans, add water in a pot ,then put in salt and boil my edamame. When they are cooked,I throw away the water and sprinkle salt on to them again and serve them warm. They can also be serve chilled..

The photo above are the tomatoes, freshly pluck and also my brinjal...Actually there are more than one brinjal as I have finish cooking them..hahaha...

Tonight.I will make some tomatoes salad...and now my pot of brinjals curry is almost done, and my edamame will be boiled soon...Yummy....

Today,I am going to talk about these ever lasting flowers...
Whenever I see these flowers,I have wonderful memories of them..as I will always buy them when I was in cameron highlands.

They are really everlasting as I have kept some of these flowers and glued them on to a plastic branch with also paper leaves.

Here is a photo of my ever lasting flowers ,which I have with me for almost 4 years..glued on a plastic branch and paper leaves.

These ever lasting flowers are grown from seeds which I bought from the nursery. They are easy to plants and flowers blooms real fast if being taken good care of.

I wonder if anyone of you , have grown this type of flowers before,as I don't know the real names of these flowers.

The petals of these flowers are like plastic, which makes them look so artifical and also makes them ever lasting. While I was in Penang ,I use to glue them on to dry branches and decorate them in my living room. That time I still couldn't find the seeds in the shops..so I always looks forward for my cameron highland trips...hehehe..
