Mental Fung Shui~~~

Here are some good suggestions for mental fung shui.If we can just try our best to follow it,I am sure we could make better progress in our life....

7:Don't laugh at anyone's dreams,people who don't have dreams,don't
have much...

8:Smile when picking up the phone.The caller will hear it in your voice..

9:When you say"I'm sorry", look the person in the eye...

10:When you lose,don't lose the lesson..coz we learn from our loss...

11:Remember the 3 R's: RESPECT YOUR SELF; RESPECT FOR OTHERS;
and RESPONSIBILITY for all your actions...

12:Spend sometime alone and think..are you really happy and satified
with your life? Well if not,why not try to follow a few of these
suggestions....no harm done,right????

Sibling's Love~~~

This morning ,when I was hanging out my laundry,I saw two cats carcass in my neighbor's front yard.I noticed it was two of the five stray cats,which are always wandering in our neighborhood.They have been there since a female cat gave birth to them.

All five of them were very cute when they were still kittens.I sometimes used to feed them leftovers. When I went over to check on the two dead cats,I saw both of them were foaming in their mouth.

I could not inform my neighbor,as they had all gone to work and they only returned in the early evening.I also noticed that after I continued to hang my laundry,the other three cats(their siblings)came over to the two dead cats several times.They also stayed nearby the two dead cats and not wandered off.

I was so touched by their behaviour,as I thought only human have sibling's love...
This is the second time I witness animal's love .The first time was in Penang's Botanical Garden,I saw a female monkey hugging a dead and dried up carcass baby monkey,so sad to see it..such great mother's love...

Anyway,when I came back from work, this afternoon..the other three siblings(cats)were still around that area.They keep walking around the dead cats..

When my neighbor came back in the evening,he buried the two dead cats carcass near his garden.I went over to help him,and I say a short prayer for them(cats).I prayed to god to let them be reincarnated into any other things,but just not stray cats anymore..so pitiful..

I wonder why some human can do such cruel things like poisoning cats.I can't blame the cats for entering their houses when the doors or windows is open.Cats are living things too,and somemore they are strays..so when they are hungry..what do you expect them to do,even if we human are hungry,we too might do more serious things...hmmm...

I just hope god who do his best to create happiness for all creatures...and may the two dead cats rest in peace...

Big Eater~~~

Today ,an unbelievable incident happened in my resturant.
At about lunch time ,a woman in her 30's walked into our resturant.She ordered so much food ,that can filled 5 people tummy.

Our waitress were so surprised that she can eat so much,and we, in the kitchen were also so surprise to be cooking so much dishes for only one person.

When she had finished all her meals,she just stand up to leave the resturant.Our waitress ran after her to settle the bills.You know what she says??? She says that it is our manager who ask her to come and eat,and he says that she doesn't need to pay the bill.

When our manager came out to meet her,he says he doesn't know her.
He politely ask her to pay up,and she started to shout hysterically.
So we got no choice but to call the police.

When the police came and ask her to pay up,she still insisted that my manager invited her to come and eat.So the police have no choice ,but to check her bag for identity card,only to find a hospital card.

The police phoned the hospital,and managed to find out her house phone number.Later her family members came to our resturant and apologized.They payed her bills and later tell us that she is a mental person.She always wandered in the street and enter any resturant when she is hungry.

I feel that ,she should be sent to the hospital,instead of just letting her wander about.Her family members asked us ,not to serve her if she were to enter our resturant again.

She really caused a scene in our resturant today,many customers lefted,when she started shouting and throwing things on to the floor.
I do wish ,we do not get like this type of people to come in again...really spoilt our business..

Sandals~~

This year,I bought these types of sandals for myself and my kids.

These type of sandals are quite popular in Japan and in Malaysia,I think..

They are rather of extraordinary colours..such as..bright red..blue,orange,white,black,green ,ect..

I choose two pairs for myself..a brown pair and a black pair as I do not have the courage to wear those bright colours..hehe..

As for my daughter,Saki..she choose a pink pair...

I also bought a pair for my mum ..a green pair..and send it back to penang via POS LAJU..hahaha..

I find these shoes very comfortable to wear and also they are very light,so my feet will not get tired easily..

I also buy some cute button studs with various designs and add then onto our sandals.

My daughter add some beautiful stone studs on her pink sandals too..

Well,you all too might try it..and let us all enjoy this summer with our cute sandals...hahahaha..

Homemade Fertilizer~~~

Recently,I thought of a way to dispose of my raw rubbish(vegetables skins,leftovers,fish bones,eggs shells,ect..ect).

I throw them into a big old dustbin and mixed them with my garden soil.

The old dustbin is ofcourse ,located in the far end of my garden..(too eye catching)hehe...

I let fermentation takes place in that old dustbin, and in a month's time,my organic homemade fertilizer is ready to be use.

I noticed my roses are extra large this year compare to last year when I didn't try this organic homemade fertilizer.

Even my neighbours were so surprised that my roses this year are all giant sizes...

I'm so glad that my effort didn't go to waste..instead of just throwing away ,my raw rubbish,I can produce nice big roses in my garden...hahaha..

Hantu Puteh~~~

A special request from my dear friend,Amy Cheah..to show my "pek lu lu"face after I put on my bedak sejuk.

This is just after my bath and now in my pajamas,I deceided to put on bedak sejuk...

So,just to show you ,my "hantu puteh" face,don't be scare,ya???? hahahaha..

Bedak Sejuk~~~

Today,I am going to make bedak sejuk as the weather is very warm and sunny.

In my garden,now my jasmine(bunga melur) is in full bloom,and when the wind blows towards my kitchen,it bring the sweet smell of the bunga melur in.

Here is a photo of my bunga melur(jasmine)..so nice smell..hehe..

I started to soak raw rice with water and keep them in a container for almost one year ago,in my refrigerator.

Yesterday ,I take them out and use my blender to blend them into a fine paste.Then,I set them on a container and keep them again for one night in the refrigerator.

Today,I took them out and drained off those excess water and make small drops of them on a tray and dried it in the sun.I will put them in a container when they are dried,and I will add in those Jasmine flowers.

There,my bedak sejuk will have a sweet jasmine smell,and I can enjoy this summer with my white"pek lu lu"face..hehe..

Makes me feel so fresh and clean whenever I put on those bedak sejuk in summer..

Dinner~~~

I wonder if other family also have the same dinner probelms like I do...

My kids have their likes and dislike dishes,and it is hard to adjust to each and everyone's command...

So,I thought of a way to adjust to their needs...

Which is: on every date that have a "2"(2,12,22)..I will cook 90% fish dishes.

Then on every date which have a "5"(5,15,25),I will cook 90%meat dishes..

Then on every date that have a "6"(6,16 26",I will cooked 90% vegetables dishes.

My kids seems to agree with this dinner plan ,so no more fussing during dinnertime..and no complains...

Then on other days ,it will be a mix of all,including noodles..ect..ect..

So ,today is the 15th(15), I will cook 90% meat dishes,and here is 2 photos to let you know what I cooked...This is called"shogayaki",meat cooked in ginger sweet soya sauce...

Next photo is the mini steak..with vegetables...to be eaten with sweet vinegar and grated radish..

My vegetables~~~

Today,I harvest my big onions as the weather is just nice...I will have to shine and dry them for a few days before I can use them as they are still wet and after a few days of drying ..the sweetness in the onions will be good...

Here is a photo of my newly harvested onions..grown in my own garden...

Next photo,is my green peas plants....They are bearing green peas now..hehe...Then in a few days ,I can harvest them to fry with butter and a bit of salt..I love this dish.What more to say they are also very healthy...then I will also fry onion with eggs.slice the onions thinly ,then fried in a bit of oil ..and then mix in wih egg..yummy...Green peas plants are very easy to grow.and not need so much care..just many sunshine and water...

So for those of you who might think of planting some healthy vegetables..can join me..hehe..Coz nowadays vegtables are not so cheap..and what better ways is that we can get them fresh from our own garden...Oh ,ya..before I forget..my tomatoes plants had a baby tomatoe today..size is about a ten cents coin..hehe..

MOTHER'S DAY~~~

TO ALL MY LADIES BLOGGERS,I WOULD LIKE TO WISH YOU...." HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY"

Well today is a very special day for all mothers..coz it is Mother's Day..

I wish my mum by phone call..hopes she knows what I says...hehe...

My sister Hor Chio Liap,took her out for a birthday dinner as my mum's birthday falls on mother's day eve...

All my children wish me happy mother's day,by MSN messages,SMS and ofcourse by mouths too...hahaha

My daughter volunteer to coook dinner for me tonite,so I can sit and glue myself to the computer...haha...

Last but not least...I got my mother's day present....

Feng Shui~~~

I am now trying to prepare my Feng Shui from June to the end of this year...

I learn about feng shui from Lilian Too's books,and I found them to be usefull.


I do believe that even if we not good in following 100% of what the fung shui's book teach us to do,we can still achieve our maximum standard...that is by our own pace...

This year I will try to protect,cleanse energize and enpower the chi of my home with the pratice of fung shui..


According to my feng shui,I will put a weaver statue(tanoki in japanese) at my main entance..that will bring luck into the house..




Next I will have to put a bowl of still water with green plants on the south of my house for family harmony.This will help to make the family happy and also good health will follow...

Next ,I will hang a windchime on the southeast for prosperity...

I also change my cushion covers to red colour as my house faces south as red chusions activate the fire element of the living room and anyone spending time here will benifit from this tapping of recognition luck.

Well,let's hope my luck for this later half of the year will change for the better...hehe..

Television celebrities~~

On Sunday,I have the biggest surprise in my life,as a group of televison celebrities and the television network stuff came to our resturant for lunch.

I was busy cooking when the waitress were so excited and came to tell us the good news...
The resturant stuff were all so anxious to see them as they are quite famous and well know in the television.

So after their lunch,our chief waitress asked the T.V celebrities whether they would mind signing a few autographs for us.They were so kind and immedially agreed to her request.We were so relieve as we thought that being famous and also so well know,those T.V celebrities will surelly
turn down our requests.

We took turns to go to their tables and I even manage to get a few handshakes from a few of them...hehe...
The funny thing is that alll of us was so excited about the autograths and handshakes,that none of us remember to take any photos with them..hmmm...such a waste...

After they left,some of our waitress and also some of our kitchen stuff ,asked our manager whether they could have the plates and cups of those T.V celebrities...hahaha..for souvenirs..
I offcourse,didn't want that,yakkks...but I do enjoy the handshakes with them..keke..keep looking at my hand,even after work...hahahaha..

His first off days~~~

Yesterday,my son rang me up to pick him from the Army Base..

It was his first off days,sice he join the Army..I was a bit excited as I have not seen him for almost a month.He is not allow to call home or even sms anyone during his training there.

When he came to my car at the entrance of the Army Base,I was so shock as my once a cheeky boy(son) looks so manly with his Army uniform and cap..hehe..

When he saw me,he was smiling happily and ask me to take him shopping first before going home,as he wanted to buy several things.The biggest surprise was :He treat me for a dinner at Macdonald's and even bought some back for his brother and sister.

Reason:He had his first payday...hahaha...The surprise for me was that ,it was the first time my son give me a treat...hahaha...coz always is he digging pocket money from me...

After a month there,he was so tanned,maybe because of the severe training..

I also noticed his manners also changed,as he was very well mannered,and not like before....I scold one word,he returned me ten words...hahaha..

Now our upstairs children's rooms are very noisy and lively..

WHY?...1 :The music is too loud...from their combo...

2:Me arguing with the kids who should let go of the computer..all also want to surf internet...haha..

3:All trying to enter my eldest son room,to check what he bought for us ,when he received his first payday..as he told us ,it's a secret....

Hmmmm...hope my present from him,will be nice...kekekekeke...
