I would like to wish all my friends a very happy new year..in two days time..

I wouldn't want to be late so I think I better post it up early.

In Japan the new year is celebrated very grandly,

This is what most houses would have place in their house..to invite good luck to come in

Then for the children,we will give them ang pow, like our chinese way of doing.

In japan ,they are called"otoshi damak"..

They are given to children who are still in school, but once they finished school, thye are not entitle to receive it anymore,as they are considered adult already...

here is a photo of the "otoshi damak".."ang pow"

Well,I think everybody have already finished Christmas...

My family enjoyed christmas very much, starting with the christmas eve's dinner...yummy...

Then on Christmas Day..early in the morning..my kids started to open their presents..

As I was watching them opening their presents,I over heard them complaining to each other,

about whose presents cost more...

I gently explained to them, that giving someone a present is not counted by its value..

It is from the heart..coz no price can measure that value...

They then stare at me and asked"Oka-san (mummy),how come you got no present?

I just smile at them, and said"Remember what I told you all just now?Presents is from the heart, not from its value"

I woke up this morning and found a pink present near my pillow.

Feeling very excited and happy ,I open it ...and that is when my kids came into my room....

"Oka-san...(mummy) merri kurisu masu..."

You all might be wondering what I got, right?

Hehehehe...here it is ..my kids make me wear this ,they say it will keep me warm when I hang out the laundry..wakakaka...

So all you people out there...HOW DO I LOOK?????

Wakakakakaa....

Today,December 23 is my daughter's school bowling tournament day.Me as the vice president of the parent teachers association have to attend and take care of them. The bowling tournation went smoothly, and the children bowled very well.We had a big surprised as the person who got the highest points was a little girl, eight years old..hehe...( the bowling lanes were all guarded on both sides so that the ball would not fall off)

Lucky draws were held after the prize giving ceremony...hehe...I even got a hot water pot(my lucky draw),but I give it away as a little girl was crying as she did not get any prize at all..haha..

Anyway,it was a happy and tiring day..hehe...as the children were very active and keeps running here and there...and we have to watch over them so that they would not get lost or get into any trouble..hehe..

Here are some photos of the bowling tournament...

Here I would like to show you all a few photos of the young fashions in Tokyo's Shibuya district. This is the fashion trend among Japanese young women.

They called themselves, YAMAMBA

Yamamba, literally translate to "mountian hag" or from Japanese mythology ,which also means "mountain witch"

The Yamamba, with their over tanned skins, and love to wear white makeup around their eyes.

They also wear funny colours clothings..and would bleached their hair into extra ordinary colours.

They would also not take bath or work,so they just spend the whole day and night on the streets.

When they are out of money, they will go home to get them from their parents.

But there are also some who would boast that they are working too.

So let us think, would you as a boss take a girl dressed like this ,to work for you??

The Japanese language they use is also a mixture of their Yamamba slang, with their original words, only they could understand..hehe..

So ,hope you enjoy this topic...and oh...just curious..would you like your girlfriend or wife to look like this???

Hahahah...just curious ...hehe..
This few days,I have beening visiting Laozhabor's blog.(http://laozhabor.blogspot.com/)
I really admire this wonderful old lady. She is just the perfect old lady whom I would like to be when I reach her age.
She doesn't want to believe in the big 3W:-
waiting to eat
waiting to sleep
waiting to die

I really agree with her on this subject,as I also believe ,we should enjoy our life to the fullness.
I think I cant be as active as her,coz I feel her life is so hectic....but I rather like to follow her style of making and having so many young friends.
Yes,I also do agree with her thinking...making friends with youngters, will also make us feel young and happy again.
So wat the hack?hehe...you can all see that she is just happy the way she is...and that is great !!!

Just take a look at her blog...boy or boy...she writes beautifully...
I really wonder whether ,I would be able to write like that or not when I am that old...hehe...
Maybe ,My old fingers make shake or my old brains would forget all the spelling...hehe..

To this wonderful old lady...Laozhabor...may you always be healthy and happy forever......
Found this funny joke from the web~I just want to share with you all~~~~
AS A WOMAN PASSES HER DAUGHTER'S CLOSED BEDROOM DOOR, SHE HEARD A STRANGE BUZZING NOISE COMING FROM WITHIN. OPENING THE DOOR, SHE SAW HER DAUGHTER WITH A VIBRATOR.SHOCKED, SHE ASKED: "WHAT IN THE WORLD ARE YOU DOING?"THE DAUGHTER REPLIED: "MOM, I'M THIRTY-FIVE YEARS OLD, UNMARRIED, AND THIS THING IS ABOUT AS CLOSE AS I'LL EVER GET TO A HUSBAND. PLEASE, GO AWAY AND LEAVE ME ALONE."
THE NEXT DAY, THE GIRL'S FATHER HEARD THE SAME BUZZ COMING FROM THE OTHER SIDE OF THE CLOSED BEDROOM DOOR. UPON ENTERING THE ROOM, HE SAW HIS DAUGHTER MAKING PASSIONATE LOVE TO HER VIBRATOR.TO HIS QUERY AS TO WHAT SHE WAS DOING, THE DAUGHTER SAID: "DAD I'M THIRTY-FIVE, UNMARRIED, AND THIS THING IS ABOUT AS CLOSE AS I'LL EVER GET TO A HUSBAND. PLEASE, GO AWAY AND LEAVE ME ALONE."

A COUPLE DAYS LATER, THE WIFE CAME HOME FROM A SHOPPING TRIP, PLACED THE GROCERIES ON THE KITCHEN COUNTER, AND HEARD THAT BUZZING NOISE COMING FROM, OF ALL PLACES, THE LIVING ROOM. SHE ENTERED THAT AREA AND SAW HER HUSBAND SITTING ON THE COUCH, DOWNING A COLD BEER, AND STARING AT THE TV.THE VIBRATOR WAS NEXT TO HIM ON THE COUCH, BUZZING LIKE CRAZY.THE WIFE ASKED: "WHAT THE *Fxxx* ARE YOU DOING?"
THE HUSBAND REPLIED: "I'M WATCHING FOOTBALL WITH MY SON-IN-LAW.
Well, it is about time I update my blog...hehe..The weather now is cold as winter is here...
It will soon be Christmas and New Year...but I still didn't take out the christmas tree yet...
Last few days ,I have been busy seaching for souvenvirs to bring back to penang....
Real headache...I am suppose to pack my clothes and things early ,so that i won't miss any last minute things,as I am very forgetful....

Do you know that when in winter, you try to pack summer clothing into your suitcase, you will feel more cold...Hehe..maybe my mind is playing trick with me..haaha.Anyway,I am very excited to go back soon..can't wait to see my family and my PGHK friends..

I have a big surprise that day when I have my fortune told by Tarot Cards.Basically ,I dun't believe in fortune telling...but when the cards tells out the things which are a great secret to others,I got such a surpise!!!!!!!
As the person who read the Tarot Card ,doesn't know anything about me or my probelms..
A great surprise, right? But it also nice,I can keep that Tarot Cards reading as an advice to lead me to a better future...hmmmm....
